The fabrics are customized to provide efficient solutions to the customer needs right from the selection of fabric weight, yarn type, dye depth. We use different dyeing techniques like pure indigo, sulphur for colors, sandwich dyeing like indigo bottom sulphur top and vice versa, indigo bottom pigment top, etc. Denims fabrics are also made with various finishing treatments like flat mercerized, eco flat, blotch coated, etc. Fabrics with weft stretch are also offered with weft way residual shrinkages as low as 5%.

Counts & Cotton type
The yarns can be manufactured in ring spun or open end technology with slub attachment from Amsler.
The counts of these yarns range from the coarse counts of 6’s to 30's single and to the doubled yarn counts of 2/30's, 2/40s and 2/50's.
Core spun Stretch yarns in counts 10s, 16s, 20s, 30s with Spandex / Lycra in core, Polyester Stretch yarns are also used in weft to make stretch fabrics.
Yarns with cotton / cellulose blends like Tencel, Lyocel, and Modal are used in the denim fabrics.
Weaves & Weights Fabrics are made with weaves like Twills, Matt, Oxford, Plain with play of slub yarns effects to create effects like streaky, cross hatch, fish bone effect, herringbone, etc. The fabric weights offered are in the range of 4.5 Oz to 15.5 Os. Finishes and types Chemical finishes like dry foam finish, desize mill wash, flat mercerized, eco flat, over dyed / tinted, pigment blotch, floc and various types of chemical application by padding or blotch application technique are offered on the denim fabrics. We also give ring denim, stretch denim, 2 ply denim in 2 ply 50s for shirtings and 2 ply 40s and 2 ply 30s for bottom weights. We offer fashion denim like polyester denim and linen denim. - The ring denim and slub denim have various ring effects on the warp direction.

- The crosshatch collection has ring and slub effect in the warp as well as in the weft directions.

- With over dyeing this effect becomes very prominent and the look becomes antique. The example is dirty (muddy) denim. Besides Ashima has other over dyed like black over black, black over blue and other fashion related over dyeing.

- The stretch denim has warp way slub/ring character effect giving comfort stretch.

- Range of mercerized denim.

- Tencel denim has very good luster, drape and high durability compared to the normal denim, which is mainly used in lower weights for shirts. Certain products have linen look with the addition of slub yarn.

- The pigment coated denim is targeted at European markets.
